4G/S go to Swell Sculpture Display

16/09/2016

At Swell we enjoyed making the sculptures at the workshop. They were made out of recycled materials and took place in the Currumbin Surf Rider’s Club. We took a long stride on the beach to see the sculptures. The sculptures were priced between $1000 to $135000. There were even inflatable sculptures. For most of us, our favourite sculpture was the big pyramid made out of bread crates. After we had seen some sculptures we had some ice creams at the park. Then we took a stroll back. On the way we saw some more fabulous sculptures. Some were interactive like the pyramid that you could go inside and some were only for viewing which had a rope around them. Most of the locals enjoyed our company and thought we were a brilliant school. Most of us had cameras and took photos. Before we got on the bus we collected our creative sculptures which were hand made. Then we went back to the bus to head back to school. We were all very tired after such a big day at Swell, but it was a lovely day and we all enjoyed our trip to the 2016 swell festival.
