Prep Black goes to the farm

What could be better than a day at the farm?  Recently Prep Black left the comforts of our school and ventured down to the Currumbin Farm School to experience what life would be like on a farm.  We were excited to see and feed many farm animals and we were very interested to learn many things about them.  The animals were very friendly (or is that just because we fed them!) and we got to see where they live.  Another highlight was making damper.  The textures and the delicious smell of the cooking and of course, the taste test at the end.  Mmmm…we are very good cooks!  Another important part of the day was learning about looking after our pets from the RSPCA worker.  We learnt how to put together a habitat for goats and then we got to pat them.  What a treat!  It was a great day filled with rich experiences and lovely memories.
